Morning all, Sorry for the drought of updates, we've been exceedingly busy! Yesterday for example, we were running from one job to another. First we were in West Barnes on reassurance patrols, then a speeding car was reported around the St Helier estate. Off we drove to help catch the two occupants of the offending vehicle, which we stopped on St Helier Avenue. Then an officer was dealing with a particularly difficult individual who needed some extra help with the arrest. That done, we then heard over the radio about a fire in a residential area in Mitcham, so off we went to help and make sure people were all safe and well. (They were thankfully). We weren't finished there though. Off to Cricket Green ward to get some urgent CCTV about a case which our team managed to locate.
As a reminder to people, please report crime through the correct methods, as this system is NOT for reporting crime. (It's not monitored 24/7). In emergency - 999 In non emergency - 101 Slow time reports - online If a crime is happening, always 999, we can always downgrade it, but it's harder to upgrade!
